Dr. Dan Knight

Dr. Dan Knight was raised in Shreveport, the son of a prominent general surgeon with 3 brothers (all of whom became surgeons). He attended local schools and then received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. in 1979. He attended medical school at LSU in Shreveport, receiving his M.D. degree in 1983. After a 5 year residency at LSU Shreveport, Dr. Knight completed a residency in Plastic Surgery at LSU in New Orleans in 1990, followed by a fellowship in cosmetic and hand surgery in Phoenix, Az. He started his private practice in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1991 at Highland Clinic in Shreveport.
